~ As of 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15 ~

Chenango County Public Health Director Marcus Flindt has ordered the “suspension of all classroom and extracurricular functions with regard to all public and private schools” in the county. This suspension is effective from 12:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020, until 12:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Starting Monday, March 16, 2020, there will be no school for Sherburne-Earlville Central School District students until the suspension is lifted. The following events are also postponed while this suspension is in effect: All Spring Sports (no practices or games); Community Swim; Girl Scouts; Sherburne Community Chorus; Special Education annual reviews (to be rescheduled).

WHO Emergency Operations Center

The Administration and Board of Education of the Sherburne-Earlville Central School District have implemented protocols for dealing with the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The administrative and safety teams have met and collaborated and developed a detailed plan of action (click here to see the plan).

We recognize that this is an evolving situation and as more information and research is made available, this plan may be revised to reflect new information and understandings.
