ASVAB

Free test can help students plan future

The Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a free test available to all juniors and seniors. This test measures students’ abilities in various areas and provides an interest inventory.

The ASVAB is an excellent tool to help students determine which path to follow after high school. Students who take this test can get a better idea of the type of job or career they may want to pursue, based on their skills and interests.

Though the ASVAB is required for individuals who are entering the armed services, the test is open to all juniors and seniors. Students who take the test are under no obligation to join a branch of the armed services.

The ASVAB will be administered on October 5, 2021. All interested juniors and seniors must sign up in the High School Counseling Office.
