Sherburne-Earlville's Robotics Club offers high school students an after-school program that requires intelligence, strategy, teamwork and a little bit of luck while competing for awards at the local, state and world levels.
Robotics at S-E has grown from a mix of Chenango County students on one team to an award-winning, multi-team program featuring only SEHS students. After sending one team to the VEX Robotics World Championships in 2022 and three more in 2023, S-E won two trophies in the 2023-2024 New York season opener at Chittenango High School.
Now with four teams, four robots, 12 participating SEHS students, and two coaches, S-E is registered to compete in four more 2023-2024 events and looks to qualify for World competition this April in Dallas.
