National Honor Society inducts 18!

2024 National Honor Society Inductees (3/2024)

Sherburne-Earlville High School welcomed 18 new members to its National Honor Society in front of family, friends, faculty and staff March 13 at the MS/HS Auditorium.

Current NHS members took turns introducing newcomers Cameron Carpenter, Amelia Casscles, Emma Chapman, Darthy Conant, Abbie Eldred, Wesley Fisher, Richard Fuller, Bethany Garrison, Haylie Holden, Aniyah Johnson, Reagan Krueger, Gaven May, Hadden Price, Ty Reihl, Robert Schaefer Jr., Kyra Smith, Clark Vischi, and Katrina White.

Each inductee received membership packets and candles from NHS Advisor Connie Hadden, then signed S-E’s NHS chapter ledger and transferred the flames from pre-lit candles representing the five NHS virtues – Knowledge, Scholarship, Character, Leadership and Service – to their own during the ceremony.

SEHS Principal Michael Waters congratulated the 2024 inductees, who enjoyed a post-ceremony reception in the Barbara Rabig Gallery. S-E’s total NHS membership ballooned to 45 as this year’s inductees joined 27 previously inducted students: Amelia Ashton, Apollo Barker, Claire Barth, Savanna Born, Brady Bowker-Jemzura, Opal Amann-Burns, Owen Brown, Tatum Costantini, Mia Currie, Daina Donovan, Michael Fetzko, Haleigh Fisher, Dominic Fowlston, Ryker Fuller, Madalyn Jones, Oliva Kane, Ashlee Kent, Lydia Larchar, Jalyn McCarthy, Chesnee Miller, Batya Mizrahi, Adam Paliana, Ava Rowe, Bryann Symonds, Hannah Todd-Rogers, Amon Van Alst, and Katelyn Walker.
