Over the past 22 years, the SE Mad Hatters group has raised money to fight cancer. For the past three years, the funds raised have stayed local, benefiting Chenango County residents fighting cancer. Last year, we raised about $3,000 to donate to the Chenango Health Network, designated for the Financial Assistance Program.

We would like to thank everyone who supported our efforts through our Vendor and Craft Fair, donations of bottles/cans, Denim Dollars, our Spring Raffle, and many personal donations. Special thanks to Village Bottle and Can Return, Chenango Valley Technology, 19th North Main, Gilligan’s, Baille’s Lumber, Michele’s Garden, and everyone who donated raffle items.

Village Bottle and Can Return in Sherburne has made it easy to donate all year long! Just take your bottles and cans there and be sure to tell them to put your total under the Mad Hatters’ account.

Our Vendor Fair and Craft Show is scheduled for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. November 23 at 19th North Main St. in Sherburne. Donations are always welcome and checks can be made payable to the Chenango Health Network. For more information about the Chenango Health Network, check out its Facebook page or visit http://www.chenangohealth.org/financial-assistance-program/ online.

We are always looking for new team members, donations of bottles/cans, raffles, and your support at our community events. If you are interested in joining the team, a space at the Vendor Fair, making a donation, or donating a raffle item, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected].
