Physical education teachers Mary Thomas and Courtney Cunningham helped Sherburne-Earlville Elementary School celebrate ACES – All Children Exercise Simultaneously – on Friday, May 10.
Mary led students in large-group fitness activities during the program, which also featured dancing and singing in the SEES gymnasium and cafeteria.
Everyone then gathered in the gym to watch Courtney’s fitness drummers perform three songs for their classmates and teachers, who clapped and moved to the rhythm of the drums.
ACES, the signature program of the Youth Fitness Coalition, Inc., takes place in May as part of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.
