Senior artist wins Silver Key!

Congratulations to Sherburne-Earlville senior artist Taylor Jennings, who recently earned a Silver Key Award and two honorable mentions from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards!

Taylor won a Silver Key in photography for her image titled “8309” and received an honorable mention in the same category with “2.29.” She also earned an honorable mention in drawing with “The Wilting Cold Case.”

Presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program is the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.

The mission of the nonprofit organization is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their work to the world through its awards, which give students opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships.
