Dear Families:
As stated in an earlier Weekly Update, Friday, June 12 will be the last day of instruction for students. Friday, June 5 will be the last day that new work will be assigned, with the week of June 8 through June 12 scheduled to provide students time to make up missed work and engage in end-of-year class activities. All assignments are due to teachers by the end of the day on Friday, June 12. Please encourage students to remain engaged through June 12 and finish the school year strong.
For those families receiving instruction via packets rather than online, the final packets will be delivered on Tuesday, June 2. We strongly encourage that all completed packet assignments be completed and ready for pick up on Tuesday, June 9.
Details on the collection of students’ devices will be provided on next week’s Weekly Update (June 5).
State guidelines for graduation ceremonies are due to be released next week. We eagerly anticipate the Governor’s announcement in order to finalize our plans to honor the Class of 2020. Graduation, regardless of the plan, will still be held on Saturday, June 27. More information will be provided as soon as possible.
The Governor’s office has announced that guidelines for the reopening of schools will be made available to districts by the end of June. Each district will be required to submit reopening plans by mid to late July. Today is the last day for you to share your thoughts on the thoughtexchange.
