Renovations underway at SECSD

Construction workers at S-E 2019

The Sherburne-Earlville Central School District is keeping busy this summer as its 2019 Capital Project to improve and renovate its facilities is underway. Construction workers and vehicles are here on weekdays to make SECSD a better and safer place for our children to learn.

We started redesigning our parent pick-up area near the S-E Elementary School building right after the last day of school. The new design should help alleviate traffic build up on school hill and will add 16 more parking spaces to the first SEES parking lot.

SECSD continues to replace roofing on all District buildings. The roof of our Transportation Facility is finished and our Middle/High School roof is near completion.

We’re also installing new boilers, removing old fuel tanks and adding safety features to the SEES main office/entrance.

SECSD would like to thank Ben Heintz of Kestrel Construction Services, Tetra Tech's architects, other construction workers and all of the 12-month employees who are working together to make sure everything’s ready to go when school starts back up in September.
