Update: Unused Snow Days

Dear Parents/Guardians,
It has always been the practice at Sherburne-Earlville to schedule days off of school for students to compensate for unused snow/emergency days.

With that said, the following dates are currently slated as days off from school for all K-12 students:
April 22, 2019
May 24, 2019

In the event that we do have to close school for an actual snow/emergency, such events will chip away at the aforementioned dates in chronological order.

For example, if an actual snow/emergency day occurs before April 22, that April 22 day will be a day of student attendance. The same will be true of the remaining 5/24 date listed.

As you know, the potential for an actual snow/emergency day will exist through the end of the school year. A single day will be held for such a contingency.

Be assured that I will continue to send robo calls to inform you of actual snow/emergency days, adjustments to the dates listed, and reminders of the upcoming days off from school listed above. It is my intent to inform you in advance so that you may be able make plans to secure childcare, if needed.

Please email me at [email protected] or call me at 607-674-7300 if you have any questions.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools!

Eric Schnabl, Superintendent
