Marauders' Got Talent!

Talent Show performers and organizer (4/2022)

Congratulations to our 2022 Talent Show winners Friday night, April 8, at the Sherburne-Earlville Middle-High School Auditorium!

Senior Kayleigh Currie closed the show with her rendition of “Hallelujah” by Jeff Buckley, a powerful song and piano performance that earned her first place in the high school category! Stephanie Harter took second with “Jar of Hearts” by Christina Perri, and Zachariah Carter placed third with “Into the Unknown” by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Isabella Foster won our middle school title with “The House That Built Me” by Miranda Lambert. Cameron Carpenter (“All of Me” by John Legend) and Clark Vischi (“Under the Sea” by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman) finished second and third, respectively.

Clark and fellow singer Kayleigh Isaacs co-hosted the event, which also featured card shark/Rubik’s Cube whiz Isaac Larchar, pirate crooner Merrick Griffith, and stand-up comedian Jada Kennedy.

Special thanks to Talent Show organizer Julie Burns; judges Anna (Rosie) Frost, Amy Jones and Lori Marquard; stage sound/lights operator Chris Marquard; awards creator Tammi VanWagner; student-helpers Lydia Marquard and McKennah Jones; the SECSD administration and Board of Education; and all audience members who watched in person and via live stream!
