Sherburne-Earlville's Weather Station
Located at the MS/HS Building

Sherburne-Earlville has installed a state of the art weather station which enables students from our district (and others) to be able to use real data in their study of weather and the environment. Our Vantage Pro weather station provides temperature and humidity readings for both indoors & outdoors. It also contains a rain guage, a barometer, an ultraviolet radiation sensor, a solar radiation sensor, and an anemometer (wind speed & direction). Based upon these inputs it calculates the local forecast, moon phases, sunrise/sunset, dew point, wind chill, and heat index. Additionally, it records rainfall for storm, daily, monthly, and yearly rates.

Additional software allows our students to graph many types of data and perform trend analysis. Additionally students can use the software to create reports which we hope to add to this page.

We also hope that people who reside in our local communities will find this information useful.
