Testing Grades 3-8
Beginning this school year, New York State is requiring testing in grades 3–8 in the areas of ELA and Math. Additional tests in the areas of Science and Social Studies are required for students in grades 4, 5, and 8. See the online schedule for complete details and dates.
Review Sessions
Middle School
Middle School students, who have been recommended by their teachers, will be able to attend review sessions to prepare for the state tests.
Dates: January 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12
Regents Exams
Students in New York State are required to pass five Regents Exam with a score of 65 or higher in order to receive a Regents school diploma. If a student scores a 85 or higher on a Regents examination, they are judged to have achieved mastery level. If a student has an average of 90 or higher on all Regents exams taken, a Regents diploma with distinction is awarded. See Graduation Requirements on the High School Guidance page.
